+ Can the band play the ceremony and cocktail hour?
Absolutely! We’re an all-inclusive band with a broad musical repertoire and are happy to be a part of your entire day. Often we will play in an acoustic format for the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and scale up to a full band for the reception.
+ What style of music do you play?
We play a wide variety of pop and rock music, from Top 40 to classics. You can get an idea of our style on our YouTube channel.
+ Can I choose the music?
We have a solid repertoire of songs that will please all of your guests from your 6-year old niece to your grandfather. We are happy to learn custom songs for an additional charge.
+ Do you travel?
Of course! We love to travel! We charge extra for the time and depending on the location of your wedding. We will include these transportation or accomodation costs in the quote, depedning on location.
+ How long do you play for?
Our typical quote, and the industry standard, is for a 4 hour wedding reception: 3 hours of live music and 1 hour (two half-hour sets) of DJ music. A cocktail hour is usually one hour.
If you require a longer event and more sets, we are happy to discuss adding time at an additional cost. Also, please know that we are always flexible to your needs. The timeline breakdown is our standard recommendation, but anything can be customized to your plan. Talk to us about your ideas and dreams and we’ll do our best to accommodate!
+ Do you provide DJ services?
Absolutely! Send us a list of all the songs you want to hear. We’ll sort through the list and decide which will sound best live and which will be better to DJ during a break. DJ service is always free–we want to make sure the room is still buzzing when the band isn’t playing. If you like, you can setup a playlist for these breaks, or just leave it up to us! Either way, we’ll manage the playlist on the night so you don’t have to worry about the logistics. We always bring professional equiptment with a selection of appropriate background music. During dinner, the room is typically too noisy for the band to be playing anyway– we want your guests to be able to enjoy their conversation in a relaxed environment.
+ Does the band provide a sound system?
Yes! We provide everything wedding music-related. The microphone and sound system is already hooked up, so we’re happy to provide a mic for your officiant, speeches, and any other announcements.
+ Can you play outside?
Yes, but we require cover and a flat, hard, dry surface to play on. Weather can be challenging in our hometown of Buffalo. Instruments don’t sound as nice when wet (trust us!) and electrical cords mixed with water can be a fire hazard. Also, heat can damage instruments, so please keep this in mind when placing your band and have a backup plan just in case!
